  • Beauty items sent to me for review

**I do love fashion and beauty products and will have features on this blog. Thanks for supporting my work on this blog!**

I love reviewing products and here lately I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to do so! If you’re interested in any of these products, here are my takes…

**Thanks so much to Influenster for allowing me to test these products, and your support!**

NYX “Duck Plump” Lipgloss-these glosses are very high shine. They have ginger in the formula so they sting your lips so please be WARNED, however I’m not sure if they actually plump up your lips! The nude color is so beautiful and will purchase again.

Valentino “Spike Valentino” lipstick in 111A Undressed Velvet –very luxurious magnetic packaging with a lip color is a subtle matte that doesn’t dry your lips. 111A “Undressed Velvet” is an orange-tinted red in my opinion. I need to do a makeup look so my interested people can see it in full effect.

Shea Moisture “Nourished & Radiant” Gentle Cream Cleanser-very gentle and light that leaves your face looking brighter and it indeed does moisturize. It hasn’t broken my face out so that’s a great sign.

Charlotte Tilbury “Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint” Hydrating Foundation Stick-y’all I was sent the wrong shade…a very fair shade. At first I was like “What could I possibly do with this?”, but I tried it anyway. I can truly say this product glides on like a dream and I can see this as a light coverage for everyday. Since I have a very fair shade, I use mine as a highlight and love it for my nose.

Shea Moisture “Whole Body Deodorant Invisible Stick in Coconut 🥥 & Hibiscus 🌺”- this product is very odorless and pretty light on the skin! To be honest though, I only use it on my legs because of the moisture content of the product; this deodorant does not help my arm pits (for transparency reasons-my armpits are stronger than the average woman). So using this product is great for under breast odor, around my neck, and sometimes as a lotion.

    |Finally…this last product was a surprise and been wanting to try it for a while now.|

**Thanks to 🐝 BzzAgent for this opportunity!**

Lancôme “Tient Idole Ultra Wear” Foundation in 525W-worth the wait and feel so happy I was able to sample this product! You guys…I used to see this foundation on YouTube for a while and never tried it. I am damn impressed with this foundation because of how light and buildable it is. The shade range is crazy and there is a match for everyone! In fact, my Guerlain foundation doesn’t even touch this formulation, and costs almost $40 more! I hope to keep this on the market cause this is my new FAVORITE foundation; crazy how lucky I was to get a free full-sized sample!

    Thanks for reading my loves!🩷

  • Three beauty products to use daily in 2024

I am pretty much a minimalist, with a flair of luxurious desire. However, wearing makeup is not something that you’ll see me doing often. Most of the time I’ll do lipstick/lipgloss and mascara. Sometimes, I only wear chapstick for my immediate go-to. Only once in a blue moon you’ll see me wear foundation. At my age, at the last of my 30’s, that it’s normally rare to go without face makeup. But I am blessed with great inherited skin, and don’t need much to maintain my skin (not tooting my horn, just grateful).

Ultimately, I will wear foundation when I feel inclined to or check out it’s wearing power. I recently splurged on a $93 foundation from Guerlain. The Parisian perfume house released a foundation infused with 24 karat gold flakes and white peony. The item is called: Guerlain “Parure Gold Skin” matte foundation. It promises 24-hour wear, no transfer, and has a SPF-15 sunscreen. The shade I purchased was 7N neutral, and I thought it was a little darker than I expected. Ironically, by the time it dried, it blended into my skin tone well. There isn’t much of a shade range for darker skin tones, which is pretty disappointing but I’m not surprised. All in all, this is a great matte formula and quite luxurious!

I paired it with a MAC Cosmetics mascara (don’t remember the name) and YSL (Yves Saint Laurent “Velvet Matte Satin” lipstick in 201 Rouge Tatouage.

You can purchase the foundation mentioned above from Neiman Marcus and the lipstick from Sephora. The mascara can be purchased from MACCosmetics.com.
