  • Virginia…is for lovers! ❤️

What do you love about where you live?

I love that my state is on the Atlantic Ocean and we have some beautiful landscapes everywhere! I mean, the Shenandoah Valley is gorgeous beyond words with some amazing wineries to match. Plus, Virginia houses two theme parks that I absolutely adore and I’m only three hours from our nation’s capital. I used to complain about how boring it was as a youth, but now I have grown to say this place is one of the best and underrated states in the United States!

  • Selling shoes (fashion)

If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?

Well….lol….I do own a small boutique on eBay called Pink Blank Space Boutique, which sells women’s fashion! While I do love clothing so much, shoes are my true passion and currently an aspiring shoe designer at the moment!

  • One habit that brings me joy…

Describe one habit that brings you joy.

I always feel great listening to jazz music! It brings me joy especially when fall weather comes in and I can relax with my Starbucks PSL with almond milk!

  • Retail work & Happiness 😃

Once in a while, I would love to share my retail work life with you guys. I’m also on a mission to smile more, as that is my best physical attribute. I lost my stride after dealing with a couple of unhealthy relationships, but in order to attract better…LET’S DO BETTER! 💗

  • Not many…

What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?

I can keep this short because my family (parents) wasn’t very fortunate to have many traditions. I hope one day to start some….

However, I believe one tradition I broke was in education-actually, me and my brother. Although we both plan to go back at some point, we mainly value entrepreneurship for the most part in our lives. I really do love the foundation of an education, and the key of knowledge that enriches the learner.

Needless to say, I broke a tradition that will be fixed back together in the future!

  • Wonderful and complex

How would you describe yourself to someone?

I would say I am an introvert, with the ability to be an extrovert when needed, although I despise small talk. The irony. I’ve grown to be a person who appreciates the more important things in life, such as family, animals, and spiritual growth.

On the other coin, I am the biggest advocate for art, especially fashion & music. That’s my life…to create and see the unparalleled beauty in the Creator’s work. A very loving woman and a guilty empathic person. That’s me! 💕

  • Fragrances you may need from Nordstrom

Fragrances you may need from Nordstrom

I compiled three sophisticated smells sold at Nordstrom that will create an ambiance like no other…but they are not for the faint. These are on my wish list so I can’t wait to indulge….ughhhhh! I am positive if you have a body chemistry such as mine, you will gravitate towards these three fragrances too. Two have both unisex (masculine/feminine) components, while one is magically feminine-something that I shy away from!

    Fragrances & Notes:

    Paco Rabanne “Fame”

This bottle is a whole diva within itself and whole runway look. So innovative and cute! According to the website this perfume promises notes such as “exceptionally pure jasmine, succulent mango and an addictively sensual creamy incense.”

    Byredo “Bal d’ Afrique”

A beautiful love letter from perfumer Ben Gorham, this mixture is a top bliss! I got the list of scents that are delivered in this perfume.

    Top: bergamot, African marigold, bucchu.

    Middle: violet, cyclamen.

    Base: vetiver, Moroccan cedarwood.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian “Aqua Media Cologne”

Even though this scent was just added to the perfumer’s lineup, I was fascinated by the citrus aroma that this fragrance promises. According to the Nordstrom website, this is what this scent will deliver:

    Notes:

    • Top: verbena accord, bergamot
    • Middle: sweet fennel, hedione
    • Base: woody musk

I will be purchasing them very soon, and will be sure to do a review on them. Are you guys in the market for any new fragrances? Sound off below so new inspiration can be emerged! 😁💕

  • Too much embellishment ?

What is too much going on in an outfit? Is it too much print, graffiti, pattern…EMBELLISHMENTS?! While I am one who truly believes in clean, cut style…embellishment is part of an identity-a personality. This is something you gravitate towards and don’t necessarily inherit. Embellishment can be rather tacky if an art of placement isn’t used, and many don’t understand that. A brand that overly uses embellishment has had a tough time staying relevant in this treacherous market called fashion. The story needs to be told elegantly, and not mentally plaguing.
