  • Soothing Love

What is good about having a pet?

I love pet birds and dogs, and they both soothe me in different ways. Birds soothe my soul with their angelic voices and how intelligent they are. Dogs soothe me by having a loyal companion and to help my anxiety by rubbing their backs. I couldn’t forget turtles and fish and watching them ease through water so eloquently-majestic!

  • 1998-1999

Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?

Today is my high school’s homecoming, and it takes me back to 1998 and 1999-my freshman and sophomore years. Oh…how times were so simple back then! I can only remember how the music/culture inspired me and my friends, with us running up the school’s steps to get to our classes. Having older siblings and cousins, I was able to go out with them and enjoy life as a young teenager as well. I truly miss those days, and it’s only when you get older and life changes that you appreciate those times more than ever.

  • Family not Relative

    Describe a family member.

Someone who values the bloodline that they’re associated with and respects their ancestors’ legacy; a family member respects their fellow family members’ values with empathy towards them. A family member doesn’t use entitlement to manipulate other members for their own benefit. Gatherings are everything of a testament of how much love they have for their family and wouldn’t do anything to break the covenant of-FAMILY!

  • Cardio

What is your favorite form of physical exercise?

I love to run, because it gets the heart pumping; walking also helps me get my cardio in. These two movements are my go to cause it makes me feel like I can go on. I pray that I am able to still run and walk in my older self because that will keep me alive as long as possible.

  • Health

What are you most proud of in your life?

Not going to lie, I don’t really know how to answer this question-don’t know how. Now that I think about it I am proud of my good health. Even at the age of 40, I feel like I’m 21 years old with massive wisdom! Proud to be alive and proud to be very healthy.

  • Blogging & YouTube

What have you been working on?

I am working on creating a community and expressing myself through my passions. I’ve always been a person who could never niche down, so I hope my community appreciates what I have to offer. On my channel and blog, I hope to express my love for something that I will share here soon!

  • Voice

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

People don’t know that I can actually sing. I joined my local church choir I and sung in my schools’ chorus, but I stopped after college. I still write songs from time to time and hope one day I could make a record of my own!

  • Just those lazy days

Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Times when I was younger, I was probably one of the most laziest people alive; yeah, I’ve worked but I was not living in my potential. In the past few years, I finally realized the importance to work on my goals on my off time instead of laying around. I guess I didn’t feel I had anything to be productive about, but now I know I do!

  • The person who never folded

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

If you’re still living, breathing, have a sound mind, and find joy in everyday…you are successful. Honestly, most people don’t have everything I named and unable to obtain it.

  • Common Courtesy

    What makes a good neighbor?

Courtesy and respect makes a good neighbor. Many times on these televised judge shows you hear of how people don’t respect each other’s boundaries and space. Yes, you cannot choose how your neighbor live their lives, but you can choose how you address them. Also, being a neighbor is a two way street-give and take. People should realize how respect for each other and common courtesy can get them a very long way in life.
